About the Role/ The Opportunity:
To build on Sitecore’s success, we are looking for a motivated and service-minded Workplace Office Intern to support our Global Workplace team in the Kuala Lumpur office. This internship is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organised, and helping create a smooth and welcoming office experience for employees, visitors, and partners.
What You’ll Do:
As a Workplace Office Intern, you will support a variety of day-to-day office, facilities, and employee experience activities:
Facilities:
- Support the team in keeping the office safe, tidy, organised, and aligned with health and safety requirements.
- Help promote Sitecore’s culture by supporting employee experience activities and office engagement initiatives.
- Assist with local office improvement projects and workplace coordination tasks.
- Support coordination with building management for maintenance, security, fire safety, and office-related requests.
- Assist employees with basic office support needs, including AV, printer access, meeting room setup, and general workplace enquiries.
- Help maintain vendor and service provider information, including hotels, caterers, courier providers, and facilities partners.
- Support coordination of office maintenance, cleaning, waste disposal, recycling, and pantry supplies.
- Assist with simple administrative tasks related to purchase orders, invoices, and site budget tracking under guidance from the team.
General Office/Reception duties:
- Welcome employees, visitors, and guests in a warm and professional manner.
- Support general office upkeep, including meeting rooms, reception areas, pantry areas, and shared spaces.
- Assist with catering arrangements for internal meetings, team gatherings, and office events.
- Help order and maintain office supplies, stationery, refreshments, and kitchen supplies.
- Support outgoing post, courier arrangements, and distribution of incoming mail and packages.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities, including welcome preparation and basic induction support.
- Support access card coordination and basic security administration under guidance from the Workplace team.
What You Need to Succeed:

- Currently pursuing a Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Human Resources, Facilities Management, Communications, or a related field.
- A positive, friendly, and service-minded attitude.
- Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and confidence engaging with employees, visitors, and vendors.
- A proactive approach and willingness to ask questions, learn, and take ownership of assigned tasks.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and support different workplace priorities.
- Good English verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
