The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with a deep understanding of consumer demand and retail productivity, translating business plans into actionable, channel-level inventory strategies and continuously optimizing positioning based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Own inventory deployment and optimization strategies across assigned categories and channels, including wholesale, retail, digital, hybrid, and concession.

• Lead channel-level allocation and replenishment strategies, ensuring appropriate depth and availability by channel.

• Monitor inventory productivity, availability, weeks of supply, sell-through, stockouts, excess inventory, and aging, flagging risk and opportunity to the Director.

• Identify and recommend opportunities to rebalance inventory across channels based on demand.

• Partner closely with Merchandise Planning to translate buy plans and product strategies into channel-level inventory deployment.

• Develop channel-level inventory strategies that reflect productivity, consumer demand, seasonality, and launch priorities.

• Support new channel and market expansion through inventory planning and allocation strategies.

• Establish and refine channel-level allocation and replenishment parameters and methodologies.

• Partner with Retail, Wholesale, and Digital teams to understand channel-specific demand and identify inventory opportunities or risks.

• Recommend markdown and clearance actions based on aging, excess, and sell-through performance, partnering with the Director on final decisions.

• Build reporting and analytics that improve visibility to inventory performance and accelerate decision-making.

• Identify process, system, and automation opportunities that improve inventory management at scale.

• Coach and develop direct reports as the team grows.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• 7+ years of experience in inventory management, allocation, replenishment, merchandise planning, or a related discipline. • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, fashion, logistics or related degree.

• Strong experience within a retail, fashion, apparel, or consumer brand environment.

• Demonstrated experience managing inventory across multiple channels, including wholesale, retail, and digital.

• Proven track record of driving inventory optimization and evolving processes within a high-growth, omnichannel environment

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Deep understanding of retail KPIs, including sell-through, weeks of supply, inventory turn, availability, and productivity.

• Ability to translate data into clear, commercial recommendations.

• Strong communication and cross-functional partnership skills.

• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

• Advanced Excel skills; experience with modern planning, allocation, or inventory management systems preferred (Oracle experience a plus).

What You Bring

• An analytical, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to translate data into clear commercial action.

• Strong commercial instincts and comfort making channel-level trade-off recommendations.

• A collaborative style that builds trust across Merchandise Planning, Retail, Wholesale, and Digital partners.

• Comfort operating in ambiguity, with genuine interest in building process and structure in a growing function.

• A bias for ownership and execution, balanced with sound judgment on when to escalate.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
