The posting

The Steward is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all kitchen equipment, chinaware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and work areas and for replenishing supplies with clean ware.

  • Clears all food and beverage outlets of dishes, flatware, and related items.
  • Maintains the cleanliness of outlets and all kitchen equipment, chinaware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and work areas.
  • Replenishes supplies with clean ware.
  • Complies with all department and company rules, regulations, policies, procedures, internal controls and government rules and regulations.
  • Performs all duties in a safe and careful manner.
  • Assists service Attendants as necessary.
  • Attends periodic meetings and training sessions.
  • Picks up mats from various outlets and transports to be cleaned and returned to the respective kitchens.
  • Breaks down all kitchen equipment for cleaning using approved chemicals by the company.
  • Complies with all department and company rules, regulations, policies, procedures, internal controls, and government rules and regulations.
  • Provides outstanding customer and employee service at all times.
  • Presents oneself in a neat and clean appearance at all times.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • High school Diploma or education equivalent required.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to understand MSDS paperwork.
