Job Summary: The Principal Technician is a senior technical position responsible for providing expert-level technical support, training junior technicians, and developing complex troubleshooting skills. The Principal Technician will work under the guidance of engineers and management to develop their technical and leadership skills. Shift: 12 hour compressed shift- days Major Areas of Accountability:

Provide expert-level technical support for equipment maintenance and repairs. Have advanced knowledge and experience on two or more main platform in the Etch area such as: LAM Alliance, LAM 2300 Exelan, TEL Unity M/ME, AMAT Centura DPS Metal/Poly/SuperE, LAM DaVinci wet etch sinks, or Mattson Aspen II. Train junior technicians on complex troubleshooting. Has extensive knowledge on more than one primary station family in the Etch area. Develop and implement maintenance plans for multiple toolsets. Troubleshoot equipment issues using complex troubleshooting with junior technician assistance. Create and participate in area projects. Mentor apprentice technicians.

  Required Qualifications:

Two-year degree in engineering, electronics, or equivalent experience. 10+ years related work experience. Complex troubleshooting skills. Multiple platform mastery. Ability to train and mentor junior technicians and apprentice technicians.
