The FAT Karting League’s mission is to make motorsport accessible to everyone by dramatically reducing the barriers to entry.

We run karting events across Stuttgart throughout the year, catering to drivers of different experience levels and creating a development pathway for ages 6–17.

We are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking individuals with a passion for motorsport to join our team for 2026. Even if you don’t feel you meet all the listed requirements but are eager to build a career in motorsport, we would still love to hear from you.

These roles will involve weekend work (Friday to Sunday), with the possibility of travelling to various karting circuits in and around Stuttgart.

Working Arrangement All roles are offered on a self-employed (freelance) basis and are engaged on an ad hoc, event-by-event basis, primarily across race weekends. This means you will not be employed directly by FAT Karting League and will be responsible for your own tax and social security obligations in line with local regulations. We welcome applications from individuals already registered as self-employed or willing to operate on a freelance basis.

Die Mission der FAT Karting League ist es, den Motorsport für alle zugänglich zu machen, indem die Einstiegshürden deutlich reduziert werden.

Wir veranstalten das ganze Jahr über Kartrennen in Stuttgart und Umgebung und richten uns dabei an Fahrer mit unterschiedlichen Erfahrungsstufen. Gleichzeitig schaffen wir einen Entwicklungsweg für Kinder und Jugendliche im Alter von 6 bis 17 Jahren.

Für das Jahr 2026 suchen wir motivierte und engagierte Personen mit einer Leidenschaft für Motorsport, die unser Team verstärken möchten. Auch wenn Sie nicht alle Anforderungen erfüllen, aber eine Karriere im Motorsport anstreben, freuen wir uns dennoch über Ihre Bewerbung.

Die Einsätze finden überwiegend an Wochenenden (Freitag bis Sonntag) statt und können Reisen zu verschiedenen Kartstrecken in Stuttgart und Umgebung beinhalten.

Beschäftigungsart

Alle Positionen werden auf selbstständiger Basis (freiberuflich) angeboten und erfolgen projektbezogen je nach Veranstaltung, überwiegend an Rennwochenenden. Es handelt sich hierbei nicht um ein festes Arbeitsverhältnis. Auftragnehmer sind selbst für ihre steuerlichen und sozialversicherungsrechtlichen Verpflichtungen verantwortlich. Wir freuen uns über Bewerbungen von Personen, die bereits selbstständig tätig sind oder auf freiberuflicher Basis arbeiten möchten.

Roles Available

Event Manager (m/w/d) We are looking for someone with event organisation and management experience, ideally within motorsport, to support the delivery of our events.

Customer Sales Advisor (m/w/d) We are looking for experienced customer service candidates to work part-time in the evenings. This role involves making phone calls to prospective customers, assisting them with any questions before they sign up.

Customer Experience Lead (m/w/d) We are looking for someone with high energy, enthusiasm, and excellent customer service skills. You should be empathetic, calm, and able to perform well under pressure.

Mechanics – Skilled & Unskilled (m/w/d) We are recruiting both skilled and trainee mechanics with varying levels of experience to support kart preparation and maintenance. Skilled mechanics should have experience with race cars, motorbikes, or karts.

Race Director / Clerk (m/w/d) We are looking for experienced individuals to oversee judicial processes and ensure the implementation of sporting regulations.

Marshals (m/w/d) We are looking for individuals to assist with on-track incidents, kart recovery, and signalling to drivers using flags or marshal lights. An understanding of motorsport rules is important for this role.

Dummy Grid Marshall (m/w/d) We are looking for individuals to support the smooth operation of the pit lane by ensuring karts and drivers are ready for upcoming sessions or races.

Timekeeper (m/w/d) We are seeking an experienced motorsport timekeeper, ideally with knowledge of Alpha Timing systems.

Driver Coaches (m/w/d) We are looking for individuals with a strong passion and understanding of motorsport who can coach and develop drivers. Strong communication skills and confidence working with children are essential.

Pit Lane Coordinator (m/w/d) We are looking for someone with strong organisational and people skills who can work well under pressure and confidently lead a team. Motorsport experience is desirable but not essential.

Kart Technician (m/w/d) We are looking for someone capable of diagnosing and resolving software-related issues.

Event Manager (m/w/d) Wir suchen eine Person mit Erfahrung in der Organisation und Durchführung von Events, idealerweise im Motorsport, zur Unterstützung unserer Veranstaltungen.

Rennleiter / Sportkommissar (m/w/d) Wir suchen erfahrene Personen zur Verantwortung für sportrechtliche Entscheidungen und die Umsetzung des Reglements.

Streckenposten (Marshals) (m/w/d) Wir suchen Personen zur Unterstützung bei Vorfällen auf der Strecke, zur Bergung von Karts und zur Signalisierung an Fahrer mittels Flaggen oder Lichtsignalen. Kenntnisse der Motorsportregeln sind wichtig.

Dummy Grid Marshall (m/w/d) Wir suchen Personen zur Unterstützung eines reibungslosen Ablaufs in der Boxengasse, indem sichergestellt wird, dass Karts und Fahrer für die nächsten Sessions bereit sind.

Zeitnehmer (m/w/d) Wir suchen einen erfahrenen Zeitnehmer im Motorsport, idealerweise mit Kenntnissen in Alpha Timing.

Fahrertrainer (Driver Coaches) (m/w/d) Wir suchen Personen mit Leidenschaft und Verständnis für Motorsport, die ihr Wissen als Trainer weitergeben können. Gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten sowie Erfahrung im Umgang mit Kindern sind erforderlich.

Pit Lane Koordinator (m/w/d) Wir suchen eine organisierte und durchsetzungsstarke Persönlichkeit mit guten Kommunikationsfähigkeiten, die auch unter Druck einen kühlen Kopf bewahrt und ein Team führen kann. Motorsport-Erfahrung ist von Vorteil, aber nicht zwingend erforderlich.
