Overview

The End to End Monitoring project exists to deliver an enterprise monitoring capability that provides monitoring of export systems and services so that potential system issues can be identified and resolved earlier, reducing service disruption for exporters.

The duties performed will include:

  • Working with business and product stakeholders to understand their needs for monitoring, covering service level expectations and current pain points for alerting and notification, through to detailed information products required by developers (e.g. logs) and reports.
  • Working with product development teams to understand system architectures, and services including complex integrations with other systems.
  • Analyse and document stakeholder requirements, translating them into specific monitoring objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify gaps in monitoring and logging that need to be addressed, including by both the end-to-end monitoring team and by product development teams.
  • Undertake detailed analysis of data to support the development of monitoring and notification solutions.
  • Create a comprehensive list of logs, events, and metrics to be monitored based on stakeholder requirements and industry best practices.
  • Define alert thresholds and tolerance levels for various monitored metrics, ensuring timely detection of anomalies and performance issues.
  • Communicate with business, product development teams and technical stakeholders within DSD about their pain points, potential solutions, their role in monitoring and any blockers as they arise during implementation.
  • Assist the EMT team lead to define and understand their role in monitoring as a support team and establish processes to maintain and expand monitoring implementations.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
