The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) is looking for an ArcGIS Platform Engineer with experience in designing, building, deploying and supporting ArcGIS infrastructure and services within an ArcGIS ecosystem.

The role will be responsible for the continuous improvement and system stability of the department's ArcGIS Enterprise implementation, including but not limited to, system maintenance and patching, the reliability and availability of the systems and utilising best practices to improve the ArcGIS infrastructure.

Key duties and responsibilities

The successful candidate will require experience with the following techniques and technologies:

  1. ArcGIS Enterprise including:Field Maps Workforce Survey123 Experience Builder
  2. Microsoft Azure Stack:Infrastructure as a ServiceAzure Virtual Machine configuration Azure Storage technologies Azure networking components Data IntegrationData Factory SQL Server Integration Services Data StorageSQL Server Data Lake Storage Automation ServicesLogic Applications Function Applications
  3. Development Tools – Azure DevOps, ArcGIS Pro

Desirable – Experience working in agile delivery methodologies (e.g. Scaled Agile Frameworks)
