About the Role

SOG Design is seeking a talented and motivated Junior Interior Designer to join our Singapore studio. This role is suited for a designer with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience who is looking to grow within a design-led, international practice.

The successful candidate will contribute to hospitality, retail, workplace, residential, and mixed-use projects across Singapore and the wider APAC region, supporting projects from concept design through construction documentation and delivery. You will work closely with senior designers, project leaders, consultants, and clients to create thoughtful, commercially relevant, and highly resolved design solutions.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with the team, project management, and advisory.

· Deliver high-quality work in line with given instructions and respond positively to feedback.

· Demonstrate a good understanding of the client/practice relationship.

· Self-motivated and efficient in a multi-tasking environment.

· Manage creative and technical design delivery and coordinate project documentation.

· Coordinate activities of teams engaged in preparing construction and furniture drawings and specifications.

· Review and develop specifications.

· Assist and support the design team in areas of staffing and mentoring.

· Establish strategy, goals, and objectives for design projects.

· Assemble presentations and "leave-behinds" when pursuing new projects.

· Learn and utilize design and planning tools.

· Deliver high-quality design work, developing creative and innovative thinking.

· Coordinate aspects of third-party work, including external contractors, suppliers, and other professionals.

Job Requirements:

· Degree in a related design field or equivalent certification.

· Fluent in spoken and written English

· Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch-up, and/or other 3D software such as Rhinoceros.

· Well-versed in developing architectural visualizations.

· Exposure to the delivery of large-scale projects.

· Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work autonomously as required.

· A talented designer with a portfolio of projects that demonstrate creativity and innovative thinking.

· Expert in all conventional aspects of technical design/architectural principles.

· Strong all-around interior design skills, including concept design, space planning, client presentations, documentation, detailing, and coordination.

· Desire to constantly improve and seek opportunities for professional growth.

· Exceptional creative skills, design visioning, and innovation.

· Passionate about design technology, including immersive tech and visualization.
