We are looking for a dynamic Junior Excess Buyer to become a vital part of our vibrant Purchasing Excess Team for the Americas, working hybrid from Guadalajara, Mexico. Join the energy and come be part of the momentum!

This is an amazing opportunity to get involved! As a Junior Excess Buyer you will play a crucial role in the Purchasing team, reaching out to potential vendors and bringing excess inventory opportunities to our global sales team.

Insight on your impact:

  • Support the team in sourcing excess and E&O inventory from OEMs and EMS providers.
  • Conduct outbound outreach to potential suppliers to request and follow up on excess inventory lists.
  • Assist in analyzing inventory lists for pricing, demand, and market potential.
  • Maintain daily follow-up with suppliers to keep opportunities moving forward.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to help match inventory with customer demand.
  • Ensure proper documentation and system updates, including notes and opportunity tracking.
  • Help build and maintain long-term supplier relationships.
  • Support senior buyers with ongoing projects, negotiations, and pipeline development.

Your qualifications, your influence:

To be successful in the role, you must possess the following skills

  • 0 to 2 years of experience in sales, purchasing, supply chain, or a similar role.
  • Strong interest in semiconductors and electronics.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Strong work ethic and persistence, comfortable with high-volume outreach and follow-up.
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take ownership.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-moving environment.

Preferred skills and technical familiarity:

  • Adding additional insight, and a growth mindset, will elevate your contribution in this role
  • Exposure to electronic components distribution, brokerage, or excess inventory trading.
  • Experience working in a CRM or ERP system.
  • Comfort working with large spreadsheets and inventory lists in Excel.
