Responsibilities

Operations Support Coordinator

As an Operations Support Coordinator, you will support OSP construction operations by ensuring project documentation, unit assignments, and closeout information are accurate, complete, and ready to move through the COP process. This role works closely with Operations, Construction, Design, OPEs, and COP resources to reconcile project information, resolve documentation issues, and help move completed work toward invoicing.

Responsibilities

  • Complete OFS unit assignments based on approved construction documentation, redlines, bore logs, EOS, and verified field quantities.
  • Perform OFS debriefs and reconcile assigned units against actual completed construction quantities.
  • Identify discrepancies between OFS, bore logs, redlines, EOS, and other supporting documentation, and escalate material variances for resolution.
  • Review subcontractor bore logs for completeness, legibility, correct project association, footage, and consistency with available field documentation.
  • Perform minor bore log and documentation corrections when sufficient supporting information is available.
  • Maintain and organize project closeout documentation within SharePoint using established folder structures and naming conventions.
  • Verify required COP supporting documentation is available and properly filed before packages advance through the closeout process.
  • Assist with reconciliation of unit quantities, footage, subcontractor documentation, and other project closeout information.
  • Identify missing documentation and coordinate with the appropriate Operations, Construction, Design, or COP resources to obtain it.
  • Update applicable project trackers and systems to accurately reflect project status, outstanding items, and completed actions.
  • Support the preparation and completion of COP Handoff packages.
  • Work assigned backlog and aging projects based on established priorities.
  • Escalate issues that cannot be resolved administratively to prevent projects from remaining stagnant.
  • Support COP backlog reduction and WIP-to-invoice conversion initiatives as needed.
  • Review customer and internal systems to help ensure accurate project and production information is maintained.
  • Work closely with OPEs and other project stakeholders to identify and document tasks or milestones required to move projects through completion and closeout.
  • Review supporting billing and production documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Translate and document field production information to support accurate completed quantities and revenue processing.
  • Escalate documentation, system, construction, or project issues that could delay closeout, billing, or overall project completion.

Qualifications

About You

The ideal candidate has experience supporting telecom or OSP construction operations and is comfortable working across multiple systems, project trackers, and documentation types.

  • A working understanding of OSP construction unit codes, directional bore documentation, redlines/as-builts, and project closeout requirements.
  • The ability to read and understand maps, drawings, diagrams, construction documentation, and field records.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to compare and reconcile information across multiple sources.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to independently manage a high volume of projects and documentation.
  • The ability to identify minor administrative discrepancies that can be corrected independently while recognizing issues that require escalation to Construction, Engineering, Operations, or management.
  • The ability to work effectively with multiple departments, subcontractors, field teams, and managers.
  • Strong verbal, written, phone, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with OFS, SharePoint, Smartsheet, SiteTracker, Fulcrum, or similar project and construction management platforms is highly beneficial.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
