Bei SQUER helfen wir etablierten Unternehmen dabei, zu AI-native Engineering-Organisationen zu werden. Als Lead Advisor – AI-Native Engineering bist du die Person, an die sich Kund:innen wenden, wenn ihre Entwickler:innen bereits mit AI-Coding-Tools experimentieren – aber ohne Guidelines, ohne Guardrails und ohne echtes Gefühl dafür, was dabei tatsächlich herauskommt. Du schließt diese Lücke direkt am Code und an der Delivery-Pipeline des Kunden – nicht auf einer Folie.

Deine Aufgaben

  • Du führst AI-assisted Engineering in Kundenteams ein und sorgst dafür, dass es hängen bleibt – Coding Assistants, Agents, Spec-driven Development.
  • Du entwickelst Guardrails für Coding Agents: klar begrenzte Berechtigungen, Human-in-the-Loop-Checkpoints, Review- und CI-Gates, die von Agents generierter Code nicht umgehen kann.
  • Du sorgst dafür, dass die Qualität hoch bleibt, wo Agents im Spiel sind – Definition of Done für Agent-Output, Tests und statische Analyse als echtes Sicherheitsnetz, Review-Praktiken, die plausibel-aber-falschen Code abfangen.
  • Du setzt Agents wirtschaftlich sinnvoll ein – passend dimensionierter Kontext und Modelle je Aufgabe, keine außer Kontrolle geratenen Loops, Kosten im Blick pro Ergebnis.
  • Du bewertest AI-Readiness auf Delivery-Ebene und leitest aus Legacy-Systemen realistische Ablösepfade ab.
  • Du moderierst eigenständig Big Picture Event Storming und technische Workshops mit CTOs, Architekt:innen und Entwicklungsteams.
  • Du hilfst mit, SQUERs Angebot "AI in the SDLC" weiterzuentwickeln, und erkennst Folgepotenzial in laufenden Projekten.

Deine Qualifikationen

  • Mehrjährige Softwareentwicklungserfahrung, darunter eine Lead- oder Senior-Rolle mit echter Verantwortung für ein System oder ein Team.
  • AI-assisted Coding an einem komplexen Projekt, beruflich oder privat – beschreibbar mit Tool, Umfang und Ergebnis.
  • Eigene AI-Praxis über ChatGPT hinaus: eigene Workflows, Agents, MCP-Server, Custom GPTs.
  • Solides Verständnis von LLMs, Agents und RAG – was das jeweils ist und wann man was einsetzt.
  • Praktische Erfahrung darin, Guardrails um Coding Agents zu bauen, und ein klares Gefühl dafür, wo Agentic Coding typischerweise schiefgeht.
  • Sicher im Umgang mit CI/CD, Testing und iterativer Delivery.
  • Wohl dabei, einen Workshop vor einer unbekannten Gruppe zu leiten.
  • Fließend in Deutsch und Englisch – beides ist Voraussetzung.

Wir glauben an transparente und faire Bezahlung. Für diese Rolle ist ein Jahresbruttogehalt zwischen € 75.000 und € 95.000 vorgesehen – die genaue Einordnung hängt von der Senioritätsstufe ab, die wir gemeinsam im Laufe des Prozesses ermitteln.
