SRC, Inc. is currently seeking a Contracts Administrator to support the full lifecycle of our contracts in an onsite or remote role. Responsibilities include negotiating and administering a variety of contracts, supporting price and cost proposals, maintaining contract files, overseeing contract close‑outs, and ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), supplemental regulations, and SRC policies.
What You’ll Do
- Build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and internal partners
- Review RFPs and contract requirements to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and SRC policies
- Support development of cost and pricing strategies and compliant proposal responses
- Assess contract and proposal documents to identify risks and opportunities
- Manage day‑to‑day administration of assigned contracts and participate in program reviews
- Provide contract guidance to program teams and monitor compliance throughout the contract lifecycle
- Respond to customer inquiries and clearly communicate contract terms to internal teams
- Maintain accurate contract and proposal files and update contract management systems
- Contribute to special projects and contract initiatives as needed
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
- At least one year of contract experience, ideally in a government contracting environment
- Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS, Truthful Cost or Pricing, CAS, commercial contracting, and technical data rights
- Understanding of financial principles related to government contracting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficiency with the MS Office suite
- Willingness to travel up to 10%
Ways To Stand Out
- Experience independently negotiating terms and conditions or leading contractual discussions with customers
- Background supporting multiple contract types (FFP and Cost‑Type) and understanding their unique requirements
- Direct experience administering service, R&D, and low‑ to moderate‑rate production contracts
- Active Secret clearance

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $65,000 to $72,500 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
