The posting
Are you an inspiring teacher who is passionate about helping children flourish academically, socially and spiritually? Do you want to be part of a caring and ambitious school community where every child is known, valued and encouraged to achieve their very best?
St Michael and All Angels CofE Primary School is a warm and welcoming village school at the heart of its community. Guided by our Christian values and strong sense of belonging, we are committed to nurturing confident, resilient learners who are equipped to flourish and succeed. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Class Teacher to join our talented team and play a key role in shaping the lives of our children.
We are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations for all pupils and a genuine commitment to delivering engaging, high-quality learning experiences. The successful candidate will be passionate about enabling every child to make excellent progress, recognising and celebrating individual strengths while providing appropriate challenge and support. You will have a strong understanding of effective teaching and assessment, be able to use data intelligently to inform planning, and be committed to creating a positive, stimulating classroom environment where children feel safe, valued and inspired to learn.
This job will be for 2 days per week on a Thursday and Friday job sharing with another teacher who covers Monday to Wednesday.
At St Michael and All Angels, relationships are at the centre of everything we do. We are seeking someone who can build strong partnerships with children, families and colleagues and who will contribute positively to the wider life of the school. You will work collaboratively as part of a supportive team, sharing best practice and helping to drive continuous school improvement.
The successful candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status and have experience of teaching primary-aged children. You will be committed to your own professional development and keen to embrace opportunities to grow within a supportive and forward-thinking school. Above all, you will share our commitment to providing an education rooted in Christian values, promoting respect, kindness, aspiration and inclusion for all members of our school community.
In return, we can offer enthusiastic and well-behaved children who enjoy learning, a dedicated and supportive staff team, strong leadership, high-quality professional development opportunities through Rise Multi Academy Trust, and a caring school environment where wellbeing and work-life balance are valued.
If you are excited by the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and would like to join our St Michael and All Angels family, we would be delighted to hear from you.
