The posting

COMPANY OVERVIEW

STACK Infrastructure builds, owns, and operates hyperscale and colocation data centers that power the world’s most ambitious technology companies. With a rapidly expanding footprint across APAC, STACK combines deep development expertise, flexible capital, and operational discipline to deliver critical digital infrastructure at scale.

Our clients include the largest hyperscale cloud platforms. We are building a regional platform defined by speed of delivery, power reliability, and long-term partnership — and we are assembling the team to lead that effort.

Role Overview

STACK APAC is seeking an Insurance & Treasury Operations Manager to manage the Group’s regional insurance programme and provide hands-on operational support for its debt, hedging and treasury activities.

The role will be within the Finance team and work closely with Delivery, Operations and external advisers to structure, place and administer insurance coverage across the APAC platform. It will also coordinate debt drawdowns, maintain debt and hedge records, administer interest and swap settlements, and support the timely delivery of lender reporting and financing obligations.

This is a hands-on individual-contributor role requiring strong organisation, commercial judgment and the ability to work across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

Insurance programme management

- Manage STACK APAC’s insurance programme across the region, including construction, operational, corporate and specialty policies.

- Work with brokers to structure, market, negotiate, place and renew insurance programmes, including: 1. Construction All Risks / Erection All Risks; 2. Delay in Start-Up / Advance Loss of Profits; 3. Property Damage and Business Interruption; 4. Public and Products Liability; 5. Professional Indemnity; 6. Directors’ and Officers’ Liability; 7. Cyber, Crime, Marine Cargo and other project- or business-specific covers.

- Prepare underwriting submissions, coordinate data collection, analyse quotations and policy terms, and prepare renewal and placement recommendations for management approval.

- Review policy terms, limits, deductibles, exclusions, endorsements and programme structures; identify coverage gaps, overlaps and opportunities to improve the cost of risk.

- Coordinate with internal teams on insurance requirements for development projects, construction contracts, colocation arrangements, leases, procurement arrangements and financing documents.

- Support the review of contractual insurance provisions, indemnities, liability caps, waiver-of-subrogation requirements and other risk-transfer provisions.

- Manage the notification, coordination and resolution of material claims, working with brokers, insurers, loss adjusters, legal advisers and internal stakeholders.

- Maintain accurate insurance records, including policy schedules, certificates, endorsements, claims registers, premium allocations, renewal calendars and insurer risk-engineering recommendations.

- Prepare regular management reporting on coverage, premiums, claims, material exposures and renewal outcomes.

Treasury operations and financing administration

- Maintain comprehensive registers of debt facilities, security documents, guarantees, letters of credit, hedging instruments and related financing obligations.

- Coordinate debt drawdowns, including management of conditions-precedent checklists, collection of supporting documentation, preparation of drawdown notices and tracking of funds received.

- Maintain debt-service calendars and coordinate the timely processing of interest, commitment fee, principal and other financing-related payments.

- Maintain hedge registers covering interest-rate swaps and other hedging instruments, including notional amounts, maturities, reset dates, payment dates and counterparty confirmations.

- Reconcile interest and swap payment notices against internal records and support the preparation of settlement instructions for authorised approval.

- Monitor deadlines for lender reporting, compliance certificates, financial statements, project reporting and other financing deliverables; coordinate input from internal teams and external advisers.

- Support debt-service and interest cash-flow forecasting, including reporting on near-term funding requirements and debt-service obligations.

- Liaise with lenders, facility agents, hedge counterparties, banks, legal advisers and internal project-finance stakeholders on operational financing matters.

- Support the preparation of management reporting on debt balances, liquidity, funding utilisation, interest expense, hedge positions and key financing obligations.

Experience and qualifications

- 5+ years’ relevant experience in corporate insurance, insurance broking, treasury operations, project finance administration, banking or risk management.

- Experience in infrastructure, construction, real estate, data centres, energy or another capital-intensive business is preferred.

- Demonstrated experience with commercial insurance placement and administration, claims management or contract risk transfer.

- Familiarity with construction and operational insurance, including CAR/EAR, DSU, property damage/business interruption, liability and financial-lines coverage.

- Experience administering debt facilities, loan drawdowns, interest calculations, lender reporting and interest-rate hedging is preferred.

- Experience with insurance markets and practices in Australia, Japan and Malaysia is favourable; broader APAC experience is advantageous.

- Degree in finance, accounting, business, risk management, insurance or a related discipline preferred.

- Strong analytical, organisational and stakeholder-management skills.

- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines across jurisdictions.

- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical insurance and financing matters in practical commercial terms.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
