Als technical writer zorg je voor de samenstelling, optimalisatie en uniformering van hoogwaardige technische dossiers ter ondersteuning van de operationele onderhoudsteams (met focus op elektriciteit, instrumentatie en controle).

Ben jij een kei in het vertalen van complexe technische materie naar kristalheldere onderhoudsinstructies en gestructureerde dossiers?

Wil je een sleutelrol spelen in een grootschalig project binnen een hoogtechnologische, kritische infrastructuuromgeving?

Belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden

  • Verbeteren en structureren van technische syntheses en analyses van EI&C-componenten, opgesteld door deskundigen, met oog voor leesbaarheid, structuur, consistentie en overzichtelijkheid.
  • Zorgen dat elk technisch document naadloos aansluit op het overkoepelende dossier, zonder overlap of ontbrekende informatie.
  • Informatie en praktijkkennis ophalen bij technische specialisten en uit systemen zoals SAP, met name over storingen en eerdere onderhoudswerken.
  • Ondersteunen en uitvoeren van walkdowns op de site om installatie-informatie helder in kaart te brengen en te valideren.
  • Opstellen en actualiseren van heldere onderhoudsinstructies, handleidingen, procedures en technische schema's.
  • Internationale normen en externe documentatie in het Engels en Frans doornemen om waardevolle inzichten toe te voegen aan de technische dossiers.
  • Coachen en ondersteunen van technici bij het opstellen van toegankelijke en kwalitatieve documentatie conform de geldende beheerregels.
  • Bachelor of Master of gelijkgesteld door ervaring
  • Uitstekende vaardigheid in het schrijven van heldere, samenhangende en logisch opgebouwde technische teksten en syntheses.
  • Pragmatische, kwaliteitsgerichte en data-gedreven ingesteldheid met respect voor deadlines en kwaliteitsstandaarden.
  • Gedegen ervaring en vertrouwdheid met klassieke EI&C-componenten in een industriële onderhoudsomgeving; ervaring binnen een nucleaire of hoog-gereguleerde omgeving geldt als een aanzienlijke troef.
  • Uitstekende beheersing van het Nederlands (mondeling en schriftelijk), gecombineerd met een sterke kennis van het technisch Engels (begrip van internationale standaarden) en het Frans (voor technisch overleg met zusterlocaties en centrale diensten).
  • Vaardig in het werken met gangbare MS Office-toepassingen en ervaring met SAP (met name de onderhoudsmodule en voorraadbeheer van wisselstukken).
  • Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden, leergierigheid en het vermogen om zelfstandig taken te structureren en prioriteren.
  • Bereidheid om fulltime op locatie in de regio haven Antwerpen/Waasland te werken
  • Bereidheid om de vereiste veiligheidsopleidingen te doorlopen.
  • Training on the job wordt voorzien om de processen m.b.t. documentbeheer te volle te begrijpen.
