Voor diverse wijken in Rotterdam

Ruim de helft van de Rotterdamse ouderen voelt zich eenzaam. Om te voorkomen dat zij in een isolement raken, is de gemeente het project “Voor mekaar” gestart. Stichting DOCK organiseert in het kader van dit project huisbezoeken aan Rotterdammers van 75 jaar een ouder die nog zelfstandig wonen.

Ben jij diegene die zich betrokken voelt bij ouderen? Lijkt het je leuk hen te bezoeken en te luisteren naar wat hen bezighoudt en waar zij behoefte aan hebben en dit in kaart te brengen? Ben je ook nog eens minimaal acht uur per week beschikbaar? Geef je dan op als vrijwilliger voor de huisbezoeken 75-plussers.

Met jouw bezoek aan ouderen help je hen om hulp en ondersteuning te vinden in hun wijk en mogelijk over de drempel te krijgen zelf actiever te worden, met als doel het doorbreken van eenzaamheid, isolement en het vergroten van de zelfredzaamheid.

Over DOCK

DOCK is een kleurrijke welzijnsorganisatie en is met meer dan 800 medewerkers en zo’n 2000 vrijwilligers en stagiairs actief in Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Haarlem, Zaanstad, Utrecht en Schiedam. DOCK geeft in steden bewoners, groepen en buurten kracht. De professionals kennen de wijk en weten wat er speelt. Deze kennis wordt actief gebruikt om bewoners te stimuleren om zelf de regie in handen te nemen en initiatieven te starten. Zo worden zelfstandige communities in de wijk gebouwd, waarbinnen iedereen een eigen plek verdient, onderdeel wordt van een netwerk en met elkaar een steentje wordt bijgedragen aan veilige en inclusieve wijken. Dit kan DOCK niet alleen: in buurten, steden en landelijk wordt samengewerkt met partners die van waarde zijn; van huisarts tot sportclub, van wijkagent tot woningbouwvereniging, van buurtsupermarkt tot zorgverzekeraar.

Wij zoeken mensen die:

  • Plezier hebben in de omgang met ouderen
  • Beschikken over empathie en goede sociale vaardigheden
  • Zorgvuldig en oplettend zijn
  • Een recente VOG (Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag) kunnen overleggen (deze kosten worden vergoed door DOCK)

Als vrijwilliger huisbezoek 75-plusser bij DOCK kun je rekenen op:

  • Een interessante training, zodat je goed voorbereid aan de slag kunt
