The posting

Wil jij als Recovery Verpleegkundige bijdragen aan de behandeling van mensen met ernstige psychiatrische aandoeningen? Op de afdeling Neuromodulatie begeleid je patiënten rondom hun ECT-behandeling, bouw je een band met hen op en zie je het effect van jouw werk. Dankzij de korte diensten is deze functie bovendien goed te combineren met je privéleven. Het gaat om een dienstverband van 8 tot 16 uur, op de maandagen en de donderdagen.

Waar ga je werken?

Op de afdeling Neuromodulatie worden elektroconvulsieve therapie (ECT) en repetitieve transcraniële magnetische stimulatie (rTMS) aangeboden. Als Recovery Verpleegkundige richt jij je op de pre- en postoperatieve zorg rondom de ECT-behandeling. Je werkt in een klein en ambitieus team, bestaande uit anesthesiologen, anesthesiemedewerkers, recovery verpleegkundige, psychiaters, verpleegkundig specialisten en psychiatrisch geschoolde verpleegkundigen. Het leuke van werken op onze ECT afdeling is dat je je inzet voor Top-GGZ, dit betekent dat je onderdeel bent van een afdeling waar belangrijk onderzoek plaastvindt naar nieuwe oplossingen binnen de psychiatrie.

De patiënten die hier behandeld worden kampen met ernstige psychiatrische aandoeningen, zoals therapieresistente depressies, psychoses en maligne katatonie. Vaak is er sprake van bijkomende lichamelijke aandoeningen en een hogere leeftijd, wat de zorg complex maakt. Jouw expertise en betrokkenheid maken voor deze patiënten een groot verschil.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Begeleiden en monitoren van patiënten voor, tijdens en na de ECT-behandeling en rondom de algehele narcose die hierbij hoort.
  • Uitvoeren van verpleegtechnische handelingen en preoperatieve screening.
  • Controleren en gereedmaken van medische apparatuur en medicatie.
  • Werken volgens afgesproken zorgpaden en protocollen.
  • Samenwerken met het multidisciplinaire team om de best mogelijke zorg te bieden.
  • Bijdragen aan kwaliteitsverbetering en zorgontwikkeling binnen het team.
  • Begeleiden van leerlingen, stagiaires en nieuwe collega’s.

Wat vragen wij van jou?

  • Je hebt een afgeronde HBO-V opleiding en een diploma Recovery Verpleegkundige.
  • Je hebt ervaring in een klinische setting en affiniteit met psychiatrische zorg.
  • Je bent stressbestendig, werkt gestructureerd en hebt oog voor detail.
  • Je bent een teamspeler die goed kan schakelen en helder communiceert.
  • Je blijft op de hoogte van ontwikkelingen binnen jouw vakgebied en draagt bij aan innovaties in de zorg.
