Kom een aantal maanden wonen op Terschelling en werk mee aan Oerol Festival!

Oerol Festival Oerol is een van de grootste locatiekunstenfestivals van Europa, met jaarlijks zo’n 50.000 bezoekers. Al meer dan 40 jaar realiseren we met sterke programmering middenin de prachtige natuur van het Waddeneiland Terschelling een unieke ervaring op het snijvlak tussen cultuur, avontuur en natuur. Tien dagen lang, van ‘s ochtends vroeg tot middernacht, zijn er theatervoorstellingen, performances, storytelling, spoken word, beeldende kunst en muziek op locatie.

Wij hebben dit jaar een toffe leerplek bij het productieteam: Reis, Verblijf & Transport! Iedereen die meewerkt aan het festival komt met de boot en heeft een slaapplek nodig, of het nu gaat om artiesten, theatergezelschappen, crew of vrijwilligers. Dat kan in een hotel, een huisje, op een camping of op een zeilschip. In totaal gaat dit om ongeveer 1600 slaapplekken en boottickets. Het inventariseren van de wensen en het regelen van alle praktische zaken is een flinke puzzel die wordt gelegd door team Reis, Verblijf & Transport, bestaande uit 3 personen en een stagiair. Als teamlid van deze afdeling werk je mee aan het organiseren van Reis en Verblijf voor een aantal groepen, bedrijven of artiesten en ben je hun persoonlijke reisagent. Je bespreekt wanneer ze komen, het budget, met hoeveel personen en waar ze willen verblijven. Het team Reis, Verblijf & Transport is onderdeel van de afdeling productie en je werkt nauw samen met andere afdelingen binnen Oerol.

Werkzaamheden:

  • Inventariseren van de wensen van artiesten & gasten;
  • Plannen en boeken van boottickets;
  • Plannen en boeken van vrachtvervoer;
  • Plannen en boeken van accommodaties;
  • Contact onderhouden met campings, hotels, fietsverhuurders en accommodatie houders;

Wie ben jij?

  • Je bent gastvrij, communicatief en servicegericht;
  • Je woont op Terschelling of vindt het leuk om vaak op Terschelling te zijn;
  • Je bent nauwkeurig en kunt werken onder tijdsdruk;
  • Je houdt van puzzelen en van getallen;
  • Je hebt ervaring met Excel en schrikt niet terug van werken met een database;
  • Je kan goed in het Nederlands lezen en schrijven, dit in verband met de systemen waarmee wordt gewerkt. En bovenal vind je het leuk om in een dynamische festival flow te werken.

In de 15 dagen rond het festival is het belangrijk dat je alle dagen, inclusief de weekenden, beschikbaar bent.

Goed te weten:

Je werkt op de mooiste plek van Nederland: ons kantoor staat namelijk op Terschelling. Als je niet op het eiland woont, voorzien we (eenvoudige) huisvesting tijdens je stage.
