Responsible for budget development and management, provider scheduling oversight, operational analytics, financial reconciliation, staff supervision, and strategic initiatives supporting departmental performance, fiscal stewardship, and service line growth. Collaborates with physician leaders, Finance, Human Resources, Medical Staff Services, and operational departments to ensure efficient and effective program operations. Education Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field. Required Master's Degree Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field. Required 3 years Scheduling and workforce management Required Supervisory or leadership experience Preferred Hospital-based physician group or service line management Preferred Skills and Abilities Healthcare finance and budget management (Required proficiency) Workforce planning and provider scheduling Financial reconciliation and operational reporting Data analytics and dashboard development Leadership, coaching, and staff development Project Management and process improvement methodologies Licenses and Certifications Certified Medical Practice Executive - ACMPE Preferred Project Management Professional (PMP) - PMI Preferred What you will do Financial Management and Budget Oversight Leads development and management of departmental operating and capital budgets; monitors financial performance; analyzes budget variances; develops corrective action recommendations; and collaborates with Finance on forecasting, productivity reporting, and resource allocation. Provider Scheduling and Workforce Operations Oversees physician and advanced practice provider scheduling processes to ensure adequate coverage, compliance with contractual obligations, and achievement of productivity targets. Maintains scheduling systems and reconciles worked shifts and compensation data. Operational Analytics and Business Reporting Develops and maintains operational dashboards, scorecards, productivity reports, and financial analyses. Monitors departmental key performance indicators and provides recommendations to leaders to improve operational efficiency and performance. Staff Leadership and Operational Oversight Supervises assigned business operations, scheduling, and administrative personnel. Supports recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and workflow development while ensuring regulatory and organizational compliance. Strategic Planning and Program Support Serves as an operational advisor to Hospitalist leadership. Leads operational improvement initiatives, supports service line growth planning, assists with provider recruitment activities, and collaborates with organizational departments to achieve strategic objectives. Participates in organizational committees and special projects. Assists with policy development and departmental process improvement initiatives. Supports preparation of presentations, reports, and business plans. Coordinates department meetings and administrative activities. Performs other duties as assigned. Travel Requirements 5% Occasional travel for meetings, education, and organizational activities.
