studiokurbos ist ein inhabergeführtes, unabhängiges Designstudio mit Standorten in Stuttgart und Shanghai.

Für unser CAS-Team (Computer Aided Styling) suchen wir erfahrene freiberufliche CAS Modeler, die kreative Designideen und Styling-Entwürfe in hochwertige, präzise 3D-Modelle überführen. Sie arbeiten eigenverantwortlich an anspruchsvollen Projekten und setzen Designintentionen mit einem ausgeprägten Gespür für Proportion, Flächen, Form und Details um.

Die Position ist als freiberufliche, projektbezogene Zusammenarbeit angelegt und ab sofort zu besetzen und kann je nach Projektanforderung flexibel gestaltet werden.

IHRE AUFGABEN

  • Eigenverantwortliche Erstellung und Weiterentwicklung von CAS-Modellen auf Basis von Designskizzen, 2D-Drawings und Styling-Vorgaben
  • Übersetzung von Designideen und Styling-Intentionen in hochwertige und präzise digitale 3D-Modelle
  • Entwicklung und Optimierung von Exterieur-, Interieur- und Anbauteilen
  • Ausarbeitung von Proportionen, Flächen und Formverläufen mit hohem Anspruch an Designqualität und Präzision
  • Erstellung und Optimierung von Concept-, SubD- und weiteren digitalen 3D-Modellen entsprechend den jeweiligen Projektanforderungen
  • Vorbereitung und Aufbereitung von Modellen für Design Reviews, Visualisierungen und weitere digitale Anwendungen
  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Designern, Ingenieuren und weiteren Projektbeteiligten
  • Eigenständige Bearbeitung komplexer Modellieraufgaben sowie zuverlässige Umsetzung von Projektzielen und Qualitätsstandards

IHR PROFIL

  • Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung als CAS Modeler, idealerweise im Automotive- oder High-End-Produktdesign
  • Sehr gute Kenntnisse in relevanten CAS- und 3D-Softwarelösungen, insbesondere Autodesk Alias, Maya oder vergleichbaren Tools
  • Fundierte Erfahrung in SubD-, Poly- oder vergleichbaren digitalen Modelliermethoden
  • Sicheres Übersetzen von 2D-Skizzen und Designvorgaben in hochwertige, präzise 3D-Modelle
  • Ausgeprägtes Verständnis für Design, Proportionen, Flächen, Form und Ästhetik
  • Sehr gutes Gespür für Details, Oberflächenqualität und die gestalterische Umsetzung von Designintentionen
  • Erfahrung im Umgang mit komplexen 3D-Modellen und in der Optimierung von Modellier-Workflows
  • Selbstständige, strukturierte und zuverlässige Arbeitsweise
  • Hohe Teamorientierung und Freude an der Zusammenarbeit in interdisziplinären Projektteams
  • Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
  • Bereitschaft zur projektbezogenen Zusammenarbeit auf Freelance-Basis
