Job description
Job Summary:**
Hitachi Vantara is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Operations Manager to optimize and streamline our sales processes, enhance sales team productivity, and drive revenue growth. This role will be crucial in supporting our global sales initiatives and ensuring operational excellence.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Develop, implement, and maintain scalable sales processes, tools, and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the sales organization. * Manage and administer the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce) to ensure data integrity, generate accurate reports, and provide actionable insights to sales leadership. * Analyze sales performance data, identify trends, forecast future sales, and prepare comprehensive reports for management. * Collaborate with sales leadership to define sales territories, quotas, and compensation plans that align with business objectives. * Develop and deliver sales training programs on new tools, processes, and methodologies to enhance sales team capabilities. * Support the sales team with lead management, pipeline forecasting, and deal progression activities. * Act as a liaison between sales, marketing, finance, and IT departments to ensure seamless operational alignment. * Identify and implement automation opportunities within sales operations to reduce manual effort and improve data accuracy. * Monitor sales compliance with company policies and procedures. * Manage and optimize sales enablement resources and collateral.
Job Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. * 3+ years of progressive experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, or a similar analytical role, preferably within a global technology company. * Proven expertise in CRM administration and optimization (e.g., Salesforce Administrator certification is a plus). * Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify key trends, and present clear, actionable recommendations. * Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and advanced Excel skills. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders across all levels of the organization. * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. * Experience with sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger Sale) is a plus. * Familiarity with Hitachi's products and services is advantageous. * Fluency in English is required; proficiency in other languages (e.g., Japanese) is a plus.
