The posting

Operations Lead Supersonik | Barcelona (on-site)

This is not a traditional operations role. There is no playbook, no established team to slot into, no clean scope. You will be the right hand to the person running ops, legal, compliance, finance coordination, and everything cross-functional at an AI startup selling to enterprise clients. If that sounds chaotic, it is. If that sounds exciting, keep reading.

What you'll actually do

No two weeks will look the same. Here is a real sample of the work: Own and improve the internal tools that run the company, across HR, recruiting, IT and device management. You are the admin and the owner: you keep them configured, secure and adopted, and you keep making them better. Evaluate new tools, run pilots with the team and pick winners based on evidence. Then manage the vendors, contracts, renewals and spend behind them, so we pay only for what we actually use. Support the RevOps side: keep the CRM healthy and its data clean, close process gaps and look after outbound infrastructure. Contribute to reporting and analysis: build the dashboards and analyses that show how the business is performing and where the team should focus. Help our implementation team deliver faster and more consistently: find the bottlenecks between closed deal and live customer and standardize handoffs and repeatable steps, so the company scales without delivery becoming the constraint. Build automations (n8n, Salesforce flows, API integrations) wherever they remove manual work, and occasionally internal web apps when off-the-shelf tools don't fit. Support the compliance side (GRC): help us get and keep our certifications up to date, from evidence collection to audit coordination. Help build the company's operating knowledge base and SOPs.

You will also handle recruiting support, data analysis, AI tool integration, and whatever else lands on the desk. The common thread: things that need an owner and don't have one.

What we're looking for

We care about the person, not the label. That said, certain backgrounds tend to produce the kind of person who thrives here:

High-pressure, high-ambiguity environments: MBB consulting, investment banking, early-stage startups (Series A through C where one person wore ten hats), elite academic programs (IESE, Bocconi, Oxbridge, Ivy League, top Polytechnics),, competitive engineering, or research. Non-obvious paths are welcome if you can demonstrate the intensity Extreme context-switching ability: You will move between legal, finance, ops, tech, and commercial work in the same day. Sometimes in the same hour AI-native: You already use AI tools daily to multiply your output. You have opinions about which models are good at what. This is not negotiable at an AI company Coding skills is a plus Languages: English is required Relentless learning: You will constantly encounter domains you know nothing about. The expectation is that you figure it out, fast, and to a high standard

What we're NOT looking for

People who need structure handed to them. If you wait for someone to define your priorities, this will not work People who delegate problems upward instead of solving them People who optimize for titles or territory People who treat "that's not my job" as a valid sentence People who are comfortable. If you want predictability, a large company will serve you better

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
