About the Company

Supply Energetics is a U.S. manufacturing and technology company advancing the future of energetics and weapons systems. We combine precision engineering with modern production methods to deliver reliable, high-quality energetics for both commercial and defense partners—built on a foundation of craftsmanship, innovation, and reliability.

About the Role

We’re hiring an Analytical Chemist at our production facility "Prairie Forge" in Parsons, KS to drive quality, consistency, and safety through rigorous analysis of our energetics products. You’ll operate lab instrumentation, manage analytical testing, and partner with production and QC teams to ensure we meet the highest standards of performance and regulatory compliance. We are open to candidates in other geographies and are able to provide relocation bonuses if necessary.

What You’ll Do

  • Create DOEs: Conduct analyses of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products; interpret data and report results
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments (titrations) according to established protocols
  • Collaborate with the broader chemistry team on small scale synthesis R&D
  • Develop and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards
  • Support root cause investigations when analysis results show deviations or quality concerns
  • Document findings in detail and contribute to continuous improvements of test methods and lab efficiency
  • Collaborate with QC, engineering, and operations teams to translate analytical insights into actionable improvements

What We’re Seeking

Must Have

  • U.S. citizenship with eligibility for REAL ID, background checks, and defense-related compliance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field
  • 5-10 years of experience in chemical analysis and/or organic synthesis
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to interpret complex data
  • Familiarity with analytical methods such as titrations, NMR, GPC, HPLC, MS, etc
  • Comfortable maintaining a stocked lab, following OSHA and HAZMAT regulations, and creating training plans for technicians.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a craftsmanship mindset
  • Impeccable attention to detail and self starter

Nice to Have

  • Experience in defense or energetics industries
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g., GMP, ISO, DoD QA/QC protocols)
  • Prior experience developing SOPs or improving lab processes

Benefits & Perks

  • Competitive salary with performance bonuses
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage
  • Relocation bonus commensurate with need and experience
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • AD&D and life insurance
  • Generous paid time off, including parental leave
  • Learning stipends and professional development opportunities
  • A safety-first workplace built on rigorous standards and a culture of care
  • A collaborative, innovation-driven culture rooted in craftsmanship and impactULL

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
