Finance, systemen en automatisatie combineren? Voor een internationaal familiebedrijf met zo’n 700 medewerkers en vestigingen in verschillende landen zoeken we een Financial Controller Group die mee bouwt aan een toekomstgerichte finance-organisatie.

In deze rol werk je nauw samen met de CFO en combineer je financiële expertise met een sterke focus op procesoptimalisatie, systeemverbetering en automatisatie. Geen pure accountingfunctie, maar een brede rol met impact op groepsniveau. Als rechterhand van de CFO ondersteun je de financiële sturing van de groep via rapportering, analyses, budgetten, forecasts en de voorbereiding van de consolidatie.

Daarnaast neem je de maand- en jaarafsluit van de Belgische entiteiten voor je rekening. Accounting en afsluitcontroles vertegenwoordigen ongeveer 30% van je takenpakket. De overige 70% ligt op controlling, procesverbetering, systemen, implementaties en automatisatie.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden als financial controller:

  • Ondersteunen van de CFO bij groepsrapportering, consolidatievoorbereiding en financiële analyses.
  • Coördineren van de maand- en jaarafsluit van de Belgische entiteiten.
  • Bewaken van de kwaliteit, volledigheid en betrouwbaarheid van financiële data.
  • Uitwerken van managementrapportering, dashboards, budgetten en forecasts.
  • Analyseren en optimaliseren van manuele, inefficiënte of foutgevoelige processen.
  • Meewerken aan ERP-, reporting- en automatisatieprojecten.
  • Standaardiseren en verbeteren van finance-processen over verschillende entiteiten en landen heen.
  • Afstemmen met IT, operations en management om systemen en processen beter op elkaar aan te sluiten.
  • Fungeren als financiële sparringpartner van de CFO en meedenken over de verdere professionalisering van de organisatie.

De gezochte financial controller:

  • Heeft ervaring in controlling, audit, finance, accounting of financial reporting
  • Begrijpt maand- en jaarafsluitingen en kan financiële cijfers kritisch lezen
  • Heeft genoeg accountingkennis om de Belgische afsluit correct te begeleiden
  • Is sterk analytisch, maar ook hands-on en pragmatisch
  • Krijgt energie van ERP-systemen, BI-tools, data, automatisatie en procesoptimalisatie
  • Ziet snel waar processen beter, sneller of eenvoudiger kunnen
  • Kan schakelen tussen detail en helikopterview
  • Communiceert vlot met finance, IT, operations en management
  • Voelt zich thuis in een internationale context
  • Neemt ownership en brengt dingen in beweging
  • Heeft bij voorkeur ervaring met ERP-implementaties, Power BI, Excel, Power Query, reportingtools of automatisatieflows
