The posting

Company Description

Syngenta Seeds is one of the world’s largest developers and producers of seed for farmers, commercial growers, retailers and small seed companies. Syngenta seeds improve the quality and yields of crops. High-quality seeds ensure better and more productive crops, which is why farmers invest in them. Advanced seeds help mitigate risks such as disease and drought and allow farmers to grow food using less land, less water and fewer inputs.

Syngenta Seeds brings farmers more vigorous, stronger, resistant plants, including innovative hybrid varieties and biotech crops that can thrive even in challenging growing conditions.

Syngenta Seeds is headquartered in the United States.

Job Description

The Field Marketing Executive (FME) is responsible for frontline execution of field marketing activities that build grower awareness, education, and preference for Syngenta corn hybrids.

The role focuses on on-the-ground delivery of campaigns, demonstrations, events, and grower engagement, working closely with Sales teams to support Product-on-Ground (POG) enablement. The FME acts as the primary interface with Field Marketing Promoters (FMPs), ensuring effective daily execution and acting as a multiplier for demand creation under the new Corn BU operating model.

Field Campaign Execution

  • Execute field marketing campaigns in line with approved plans, standards, and timelines.
  • Deliver high-quality field demos, FITs, grower meetings, caravans, and education sessions.
  • Ensure activities are relevant, timely, and aligned with local crop calendars and priorities.

Grower Engagement & Education

  • Engage directly with growers to explain product benefits, agronomic practices, and trial results.
  • Support grower understanding, confidence, and preference through structured education activities.
  • Build positive grower experience that supports downstream sales and repeat purchase

FMP Coordination & Field Multiplication

  • Work tightly and directly with Field Marketing Promoters (FMPs) deployed as third-party, non-FTE service providers.
  • Translate FMM plans into daily and weekly execution activities for FMPs.
  • Guide FMPs on activity focus, messaging, and execution priorities (without direct people supervision).
  • Monitor activity completion and quality and provide feedback to FMM.

Push–Pull–Proof Support

  • Coordinate closely with TSEs and ZSMs to align field marketing activities with sales and POG priorities.
  • Support Agronomy & Technical Services (ATS) during demos, trials, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure marketing execution reinforces product proof and field credibility.

Channel Inventory Visibility & Field Feedback

  • Observe and report distributor, retailer, and POG inventory situations encountered during field activities.
  • Flag inventory mismatches, stock-outs, or overstock situations that may impact campaign effectiveness or grower confidence.
  • Provide timely field feedback to FMM and Sales teams.

Competitor & Market Intelligence

  • Capture on-the-ground competitor intelligence during field execution.
  • Observe and report competitor campaign presence, demo activity, grower messaging, pricing signals, and perceived strengths or gaps.
  • Provide structured field insights to support campaign refinement and competitive response.

Execution Reporting & Discipline

  • Maintain accurate records of activities executed, grower engagements, and FMP-supported actions.
  • Submit timely and accurate execution reports in line with agreed formats and cadence.
  • Comply with brand, safety, and commercial standards at all times.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Agriculture, Agribusiness, or related field

Experience

  • Strong field execution and coordination capability
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Practical understanding of grower needs and field realities
  • Ability to work with third-party service providers without direct authority
  • Disciplined reporting and execution habits
  • High field orientation and willingness to travel extensively

  • Timely and high-quality execution of field campaigns
  • Grower reach, engagement, conversion, retention and education effectiveness
  • Effectiveness of FMP-supported execution

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
