About this role

Takeaway Payments is the regulated backbone of Just Eat Takeaway.com, operating as an authorized payment institution supervised by De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB). Joining this dedicated team, you will live our Lead, Deliver, and Care values by shaping compliance strategy, delivering clear risk frameworks, and collaborating across our business to navigate evolving regulations safely and responsibly.

These are some of the key components to the position:

  • Lead the implementation of regulatory frameworks, including the Payment Services Regulation (PSR) and Anti-Money Laundering Regulation (AMLR).
  • Oversee Systematic Integrity Risk Analysis (SIRA) from start to finish, providing clear, actionable risk reporting to our Management and Supervisory Boards.
  • Coordinate supervisory audits, thematic reviews, and formal inquiries with De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) and European authorities.
  • Design and enhance ongoing testing programs across Anti-Money Laundering (AML), sanctions screening, and financial crime prevention.
  • Mentor compliance colleagues and champion best practices across the organization to maintain high compliance awareness.

What will you bring to the team?

  • Comprehensive background in regulatory compliance within payment institutions, electronic money institutions (EMI), or financial technology environments.
  • Deep practical knowledge of Payment Services Directive (PSD2/PSD3), Anti-Money Laundering frameworks, and regulatory supervisory expectations.
  • Strong collaborative mindset with the ability to provide clear, balanced advisory support to executive leadership and regulatory bodies.
  • Solution-focused approach that enables commercial goals while safeguarding integrity and mitigating financial crime risks.
  • Recognized compliance qualifications (such as CAMS or NCI) and legal or financial certifications are an advantage.
