Our client is a prestigious boys' school renowned for its academic excellence and commitment to STEM education, seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Laboratory Technician to join our vibrant team. We are dedicated to providing our students with the tools and support they need to reach their full potential, both academically and personally.

Are you passionate about science and eager to inspire the next generation of curious minds?

Ignite young minds and:

  • Prepare and maintain laboratories for a variety of science classes, ensuring a safe and stimulating learning environment.
  • Set up and demonstrate scientific experiments, fostering a hands-on approach to learning.
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning, sourcing materials, and managing laboratory equipment.
  • Ensure the safe and proper use of chemicals, apparatus, and laboratory equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of laboratory activities, inventory, and safety procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain basic laboratory equipment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of engaging science initiatives and extracurricular activities.
  • Foster a love for science in young minds through clear communication, enthusiasm, and creativity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a school laboratory or other relevant setting (research labs, science museums, etc.).
  • Must know Arabic.
  • Strong understanding of laboratory safety procedures and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with students, teachers, and other staff.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
  • Passion for science education and a desire to inspire young learners.
