The posting

We are looking for a Building Executive to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of a Grade A commercial building.

The ideal candidate should have good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work closely with tenants, contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth building operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular building inspections and follow up on defects, repairs and maintenance works.
  • Oversee daily building operations, including cleaning, security, landscaping, waste management, car park and common facilities.
  • Coordinate with term contractors to ensure scheduled servicing and maintenance are completed properly.
  • Work with the M&E team on tenant fit-out and reinstatement works.
  • Monitor fire safety systems, conduct fire drills and participate in the building's emergency response team.
  • Coordinate with tenants, contractors, consultants and relevant authorities on maintenance and improvement works.
  • Assist with budgeting, procurement, contract administration and expenditure control.
  • Maintain proper records of building operations, maintenance works and contractor documentation.
  • Attend to tenant feedback and complaints, and handle emergencies after office hours when required.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Building Management, Building Services or an equivalent qualification.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-oriented, responsible and proactive.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in commercial building or facilities management will be an advantage.
