The posting

At Quantaco, we deliver advanced predictive financial data services for the Australian hospitality industry. We are one of the fastest-growing companies in Australia, as recognized by The Australian Financial Review in 2025. We are continuing our acceleration through hyper-automation.

Our engineers are thought leaders within the business and provide significant input into the design and direction of our technology. Our engineering roles are not singular in their focus, allowing you to understand the hospitality business, our customers, and the different roles across the technology team. We are a friendly and collaborative team. We use a mature, design-first development process focused on delivering new features that enhance our customers’ experience and improve their bottom line. You’ll always be learning at Quantaco.

The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer is a critical role within the Software Engineering team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will have significant autonomy and a broad remit across quality assurance, test automation, release quality, and continuous improvement. You will work closely with engineers, product owners, and other stakeholders across Australia and India to establish high-quality engineering practices and ensure software is reliable, scalable, and fit for production.

We are looking for an experienced QA professional with strong expertise in test automation, API testing, and modern quality engineering practices. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining automated test frameworks, improving our overall test strategy, identifying quality risks early, and helping establish automation as a core part of the software development lifecycle. Experience with Cypress, as well as a strong understanding of REST APIs and Open API 3.0, is highly desirable.

Culture and Values

Quantaco is a happy and diverse group of professionals who value a strong work ethic, authenticity, creativity, and flexibility. We support and work hard for each other and our customers, while having fun along the way. Hospitality is fun! We support flexible work and provide lots of greenfield projects for you to get stuck into. If you’ve got a passion for creating new and impactful technology and want to realize your potential in a team that values your perspective and ideas, we want to hear from you.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
