The posting

WHO WE ARE

We’re Talking Rain Beverage Company, we create better-for-you beverages featuring great flavors and colors from natural sources. We live life in full flavor and believe the world should too. We create connections with every sip of our iconic Sparkling Ice, Sparkling Ice Caffeine, Sparkling Ice Energy, and Popwell.

When it comes to success, we know we’re only as strong as our team. That's why we're an equal-opportunity employer. We value diversity and practice inclusivity, hiring great people who enhance our company.

Our Rain Makers are our most important asset. That’s why we invest in them with benefits and development opportunities that reflect just how much we value them.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Our Finance team loves digging into the details to drive profitability while providing excellent customer service. You'll own Talking Rain's Travel & Expense program, corporate card management, and the retained AP controls and approvals that must remain internal.

While this role spans both T&E and AP, the primary focus is on T&E, including Concur administration, corporate cards, and expense policy management. The role will also support AP by managing the controls, approvals, and escalations that remain internal as Accounts Payable transitions to our managed services partner, Genpact.

Reports to: Financial Reporting Manager

Direct Reports: N/A (dotted-line coordination with Genpact AP team)

Location: Onsite at our Preston, WA office

Annual Bonus Potential: 7% - Eligibility is based on the company hitting annual financial targets.

Base Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 (depending on experience)

Note: New hires typically receive between minimum and midpoint, however, we may go slightly higher based on experience, internal equity and market.

  • Administer the Concur T&E platform, managing expense reporting, policy compliance, and reimbursement processing.
  • Manage the corporate card program, including issuance, policy enforcement, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
  • Own retained AP approvals and internal controls, ensuring transactions meet authorization requirements prior to Genpact processing.
  • Review and resolve AP exceptions, mismatches, and escalations requiring internal business judgment.
  • Partner with Supply Chain to coordinate travel management, aligning on travel policy, vendor relationships, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with Procurement on vendor payment terms, ensuring accurate system reflection and incorporation into AP aging and cash flow reporting.
  • Monitor and report on AP aging, flagging items for escalation or action.
  • Serve as primary internal contact for Genpact on AP escalations and controls questions.
  • Maintain and enforce T&E and AP policies, updating procedures and communicating changes to employees.
  • Support month-end close activities related to AP, accruals, and T&E.
  • Provide AP and T&E documentation and control evidence for internal and external audits.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for T&E and AP, partnering with Genpact and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure food safety, quality, and SQF practices are followed; report issues to immediate supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

We create connections with every sip. And we've found a lot of value in in-person connections! Onsite presence is beyond collaboration, and here is why onsite presence matters:

  • Enhances customer responsiveness: Onsite teams enable faster turnaround on customer-impacting issues, from quality checks to urgent order adjustments.
  • Speeds decision-making: Co-located teams get questions answered and roadblocks cleared instantly — critical for scaling and aligning priorities across Sales and Supply Chain.
  • Strengthens cross-functional execution: May of our initiatives cut across departments. Onsite presence of the Finance and Supply Chain teams, along with others, ensures the right voices are at the table at the right time to align on next steps.
  • Enables richer, faster feedback loops: Real-time observation and discussion across departments surface gaps, adapt processes, and improve outcomes immediately.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Accounts Payable, T&E administration, or a related accounting role.
  • Hands-on experience with Concur Expense and/or Concur Invoice required.
  • Experience with corporate card program management preferred.
  • Knowledge of AP controls, invoice processing, and three-way matching.
  • Experience working with or alongside a managed services or shared services model preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization and with external partners.
  • Flexibility to accommodate occasional evening and weekend work for special assignments.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
