The posting
Help us make sure the world knows what we're building.
At tawk.to, we believe businesses should never have to pay simply to communicate with their customers. Millions of businesses use our platform to connect with customers, manage conversations, and deliver better customer experiences. And we're building much more. From live chat and customer communications to AI-powered assistance, CRM, integrations, and automation, our teams are constantly developing new ways to help businesses engage with their customers. Here's our challenge: we're building and shipping faster than we're telling the world about it. That's where you come in. We're looking for an exceptional Senior Product Marketing Manager to take ownership of how we announce, promote, explain, and drive adoption of everything we build. This isn't a role where you'll spend months planning a single launch. Our product teams ship continuously. Your job is to build the system that ensures our customers, prospective customers, and the broader market know what's new, why it matters, and how they can benefit.
What You'll Do
Own our product announcements and launches You'll work closely with our Product and Engineering teams to understand what's coming, decide what deserves attention, and develop the communication plans that bring our releases to life.
Turn features into compelling stories You'll translate new functionality into simple, engaging, customer-focused messages. You'll create or coordinate blog posts, release notes, product updates, newsletters, website content, and announcements that make people excited about what we're building.
Get the word out You'll coordinate campaigns across social media, online communities, influencers, relevant publications, email, and other channels. You'll look for creative ways to generate awareness and conversation around our products.
Bring our products to life through video You'll work with designers, video producers, and other creatives to develop product trailers, demos, tutorials, and short-form videos that show customers what's possible.
Build relationships with influencers and communities You'll identify relevant creators, industry experts, and communities, developing relationships that help introduce our products to new audiences.
Keep our existing customers informed You'll make sure customers hear about features they'll find valuable, including notifying people when something they've asked for becomes available. You'll coordinate closely with our teams to ensure website content, help articles, in-app communications, and other resources reflect our latest capabilities.
Keep our entire company informed You'll help make sure our internal teams know what we've shipped, why it matters, and how to explain it to customers.
Measure what matters You'll go beyond impressions and clicks, helping us understand how product marketing contributes to awareness, feature activation, customer engagement, and adoption.
What We're Looking For
- At least 5 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably within B2B SaaS.
- Proven experience launching and promoting software products or features.
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills.
- An ability to understand complex products and explain them simply.
- Experience with content marketing, social media, email campaigns, and digital distribution.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Experience collaborating with product managers, engineers, designers, and marketing teams.
- A proactive, resourceful, hands-on working style.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving product environment.
- Enthusiasm for using AI and modern marketing tools to work more effectively.
Bonus Points
- Experience in product-led growth companies.
- Familiarity with AI, automation, CRM, or customer engagement software.
- Experience working with influencers, creators, or industry communities.
- Experience developing software demonstration videos or product launch trailers.
- Understanding of product analytics and feature adoption.
- Experience developing repeatable launch programs for rapidly evolving products.
The Kind of Person Who Will Thrive Here
You're someone who sees a product release and immediately asks: Who needs to know about this? Why would they care? What's the most interesting way to tell them? And how can we get the message in front of as many relevant people as possible? You're a strong communicator, but you're also an operator. You don't just develop strategies — you execute them. You're comfortable writing a blog post in the morning, coordinating a product video in the afternoon, preparing a launch campaign for the following week, and reaching out to creators who might want to talk about what we're building. You don't need a large team or a big advertising budget to get things done. You're creative, organized, commercially minded, and genuinely interested in technology. Most importantly, you take ownership.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first three months, you'll have helped us establish a reliable product communications operation. Our major launches will have coordinated campaigns. New features will have consistent announcements. Our website and knowledge base will better reflect what our platform can do. Customers will hear about relevant new capabilities, and our teams will be informed about what we're shipping. Over time, you'll help turn our constant product innovation into a consistent source of customer engagement, product adoption, and organic growth.
Why Join tawk.to?
We're building products used by millions of businesses. You'll have a direct connection to the teams creating those products and an opportunity to shape how the world discovers them. You'll have room to experiment, create, and build something meaningful rather than simply maintain an established marketing calendar. You'll work in an environment where new technology, particularly AI and automation, is creating entirely new possibilities for how businesses communicate. And you'll have something every great product marketer wants: A constant stream of new things worth talking about.
Interested?
We'd love to hear from you. When applying, please share examples of product launches, announcements, campaigns, or content you've personally created or led. We're particularly interested in hearing how you helped people discover, understand, and adopt a product or feature — not just how many impressions a campaign generated. Come help us tell the world what we're building.
