The posting

Queen Elizabeth’s Academy has an opportunity for a highly motivated and dedicated Administration Assistant to join our dynamic, talented and supportive business team as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will be required to provide a full administrative service within the academy and aid students, staff and parents where appropriate. This includes undertaking a diverse range of administrative duties to ensure well-presented and accurate correspondence, reports and other documentation as directed by the Business Team Leader.

Other duties to be carried out by our appointed candidate include dealing effectively and professionally with visitors at all levels, answering internal and external calls, processing messages via voicemail, written communication, email and setting up rooms for meetings, amongst many other things. Therefore, candidates need to be well organised and hardworking as this is a busy and demanding role. Please note the successful candidate will be required to be first aid trained (training will be provided).

To perform well in this role, you will need to be professional, personable and committed to providing an excellent service, and above all else, our administration assistant will have a positive work ethic, a can-do attitude and a good sense of humour.

This is a full-time, term time only role. The working hours will be 8.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 3.30pm Friday. Previous experience in a school office would be an advantage, however not essential.

Why join Queen Elizabeth’s Academy?

We are a large secondary academy for students aged 11-18 years based in Mansfield with over 880 students. In our latest Ofsted inspection, we were rated ‘good’ overall with feedback that our academy has ‘established a culture that supports all pupils to learn well’ and that ‘pupils understand the school’s Christian values well’.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
