As part of the apprenticeship programme, you will gain hands-on experience, learn essential kitchen skills, and receive on-the-job training to build your confidence and knowledge.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for food, a strong work ethic, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, keeping up with the demand of busy periods and communicate well with staff, students, and visitors. As your skills develop, you'll play an increasingly important role in delivering a high-quality catering service.

As part of the apprenticeship, you will be working towards a Level 2 Production Chef qualification. You will be required to attend Exeter College one day a week, you will have a skills assessor from the college who will also visit you in the cafe.
