The posting

We passionately believe that every child deserves an excellent education and a nourishing lunch is part of ensuring all children can thrive in school.

An opportunity has arisen for a General Catering Assistant to join our team.

The General Catering Assistant position duties include food preparation, the serving of meals and other duties as directed by the Catering Supervisor.

This is an exciting time to join us as we deliver our catering contract, working alongside FM Services to deliver a healthy, nutritious home cooked lunch to our 330 pupils.

Our successful candidate is someone who is willing to work as a part of the whole school team, to ensure that our pupils receive high quality meals each day, whilst maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.

What makes our school special? (According to our Y6 pupils)

*”Thornhill is a representative school for the community- we are an amazing school!”

*”Music is a very special part of our school and we treasure it truly. We learn a new musical instrument every year.”

*”We have amazing school trips, which are unique for every year group. We have just been to London in Y6 and we loved Chester Zoo in Y4.”

*“Our school is such a great place to be. It is almost like a magic place because it brings so many friends and families together.”

Can you see yourself joining and contributing to our fantastic school family?

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience of food preparation, cooking and serving in a busy environment.

Can work well as part of a team.

Can build and sustain respectful relationships with children.

Is flexible and committed to further development.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
