The posting

Shipston-on-Stour Primary School, part of The Stour Federation, is looking for an excellent full-time teacher to teach, and lead, the school’s internal support base. Groups of no more than 8 or 9 children, with special educational needs, access the base, at any one time, throughout the day. The successful candidate will liaise directly with the children’s class teachers, to ensure each child’s needs are being met, in line with the strategies and provision set out in their EHCPs - and will also be responsible for the effective deployment of TAs, supporting in the base. We would be keen to hear about your professional experience and what you can offer.

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated teacher who has an interest in providing equitable support for children with different needs. The successful candidate must be able to use a range of pedagogical techniques and appropriate strategies to meet the needs of all children – and enjoy working as part of a supportive team who care for each other, our children and our whole community. Shipston Primary is a two-form entry school, so you would have the support of a wide range of colleagues.

To be the successful candidate, you will need to have good experience of working in a school, have an excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and be both creative and passionate about learning and supporting children with additional needs. The successful candidate needs to be able to show warmth, kindness, professional flexibility, patience and empathy - whilst having the highest of expectations for children's outcomes.

Working for The Stour Federation will provide exciting opportunities for candidates who are ambitious, creative and enjoy working in collaboration with others. Our children love to learn, are creative and believe in the ethic of excellence.

Our schools offer an exciting, extended and dynamic curriculum which connects learning beyond knowledge and provides children with opportunities to flourish. You will also be expected to use ICT in a fully integrated way as a tool to support your planning, teaching, tracking of the curriculum and in the activities within the classroom to support the children's development.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
