The posting

Melrose Learning Trust is seeking to appoint an exceptional, committed and forward-thinking Deputy Headteacher to join the leadership team at St. Mary's Cockerton CE Primary School.

The Deputy Head Teacher will support the Head Teacher in leading the school’s strategic direction, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning, and modelling the school’s Christian vision and values. The role combines senior leadership responsibilities with a regular teaching commitment, contributing directly to the educational experience of pupils.

St Mary’s Cockerton Church of England Primary School has a distinctive Christian ethos which is at the centre of school life. We provide an inclusive, supportive and caring environment, shaped by Christian values in which children can learn and flourish. We welcome children of all faiths and none. We have a passion to include everyone equally and accept others for who they are and respect differences.

Through our School Vision of ‘To be the hands and feet of Jesus’, we build a community where God's love is shared through positive engagement, action and education, inspiring all to raise their eyes, open their minds and explore the world God created. We welcome families of all faiths and none and are committed to ensuring every member of our community feels valued, respected and supported.

Candidates will need to provide leadership of a high quality in the academic, pastoral and management fields and be able to show evidence of the successful implementation of change. Candidates should be highly motivated with a desire to continually develop their own teaching and the teaching of others, leadership and management skills to ensure that all children reach their full potential within a caring, stimulating and Christian environment.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?
