The posting

Are you passionate about shaping young minds and giving children the very best start to their educational journey?

At Rushden Primary Academy, we are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage Teacher to join our committed and ambitious team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about Early Years education, committed to excellence, and driven by a desire to help every child thrive.

This is an exciting time to join our school. During October half term, we will be unveiling a brand-new EYFS outdoor learning environment, creating exceptional opportunities for children to explore, discover and learn through purposeful play. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help shape and embed this exciting provision as part of our commitment to delivering outstanding Early Years education.

Working alongside our experienced and passionate EYFS Lead, this role would be ideal for an Early Career Teacher or someone in the early stages of their teaching career who is eager to learn, develop and refine their practice. We are committed to investing in our staff and provide strong coaching, mentoring and professional development to help teachers grow into outstanding practitioners.

We believe that learning is lifelong, not just for children, but for adults too. We are looking for a reflective practitioner who embraces professional growth, values collaboration and is committed to continually developing their practice.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a passion for Early Years education and a strong understanding of child development.
  • Is committed to delivering excellence in teaching and learning every day.
  • Creates a nurturing, engaging and inspiring environment where every child can flourish.
  • Has high expectations of all children and believes that every pupil can succeed.
  • Understands that strong relationships are at the heart of exceptional Early Years practice.
  • Values continuous professional development and recognises that learning is lifelong for both pupils and staff.
  • Works effectively as part of a team and contributes positively to the wider life of the school.
  • Is committed to ensuring all children, regardless of background or need, receive the best possible start to their education.
  • Is enthusiastic, reflective and open to coaching and feedback.

We can offer:

  • Enthusiastic, curious and wonderful children who are eager to learn.
  • An experienced and passionate EYFS Lead who will provide support, guidance and coaching.
  • A collaborative and supportive staff team.
  • A brand-new EYFS outdoor learning environment opening in October 2026.
  • High-quality professional development and opportunities for career progression.
  • A culture that values wellbeing, teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Strong leadership committed to supporting staff to achieve excellence.
  • The opportunity to make a lasting difference to children's lives during the most important years of their education.

Whilst this position is initially offered on a fixed-term basis, there is genuine potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate. We are looking for someone who will embrace our vision and values, make a significant contribution to our school community and share our commitment to providing an exceptional education for every child.

At Rushden Primary Academy, we believe that the foundations laid in Early Years can shape a child's future. If you share our commitment to excellence and have the passion, warmth and drive to inspire young learners, we would love to hear from you.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
