Salary: NJC Scale 5 points 12 to 17 (£28,598 to £31,022 per annum FTE).
Actual salary for Post 1- £16,270.54 per annum on point 12.
Actual salary for Post 2- £28.598 per annum on point 12.
Contract: Permanent.
Post 1 - 24 hours per week. Term time plus 5 training days and 1 weeks to be worked over school closure periods (40 weeks per year)
Post 2 - 37 hours per week - Monday to Thursday 08.00 to 16.00 and Friday 08.00 to 15.30 with a 30 minute unpaid break. 52 weeks per year.

The CAM Academy Trust is seeking to appoint two motivated Finance Assistants to support the effective delivery of the Trust’s Finance function.
The Finance Assistants will support the effective delivery of the Trust’s transactional finance services, ensuring that day-to-day financial processes are carried out accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.
Working under the direction of the Finance Manager, the postholders play a key role in accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, and month-end support, providing a high-quality, customer-focused service to schools and central teams across The CAM Academy Trust.
The roles contributes to the Trust’s strong internal controls, reliable financial information, and smooth financial operations.
The primary aims of the posts are:
- Support strong, efficient transactional finance processes
- Ensure timely and accurate financial information
- Maintain effective internal controls and compliance
Organisational relationships
- Responsible to the Finance Manager
- Works closely with other Finance Assistants
- Liaison with Finance Partners, schools, and central teams on transactional finance matters
- Occasional liaison with external suppliers and customers
