The posting

We are seeking to appoint a First Aider to join our team from November. Working within a small team, you will need the ability to both follow instructions and think on your feet to make decisions quickly. The role is varied and no two days are the same as priorities can change throughout the day.

The essential qualities required are someone who enjoys a good rapport with students, has a level headed approach to differing situations and the ability to multi-task. In addition, you need to have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in written form as you will need to record/monitor students visiting first aid and liaise home or with outside agencies depending on the situation. Previous first aid knowledge, training or experience would be an advantage, but full training will be provided, so finding the correct person for the role is our priority,

Please read the attached information pack for further details, including main duties and the person specification. Please use the application form to demonstrate your suitability for the role and we do not expect to see AI generate statements.

Benefits of working at Priestlands include:

  • Free on-site car park
  • Two week Autumn half term
  • Friendly and sociable colleagues
  • Enrolment in and generous contribution to one of the UK’s largest public sector pension schemes; LGPS
  • Eligible for reduced rate membership at NFDC leisure centres
  • Free and confidential Employee Assistance programme offering advice on a range of areas including well-being, housing and financial matters
  • Free eye sight test every 2 years
  • Professional development opportunities for all staff
  • Affordable on-site canteen

References will be usually taken up prior to interview; if you currently work in a school, please ensure one of your references is from your current Headteacher. You will be required to provide appropriate evidence of identity and qualifications to support other pre-employment checks which will be undertaken on the successful candidate for this role, including: your right to work in the UK, a confidential health declaration, an online search of your name in line with government guidance on Keeping Children Safe in Education, and a DBS application.

If you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to receiving your application.

Please submit your application as soon as possible as we may invite candidates to interview before the closing date.

Disclaimer: due to the high volume of applications we receive, we reserve the right to close a vacancy earlier than the advertised date if we receive applications that meet the criteria. Once a vacancy has closed, we are unable to consider further applications, so please submit your application as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
