The posting

Due to the promotion of the current Head of School, St Peter’s Primary School is seeking to appoint a Head of School to work closely to deliver the priorities of the Executive Headteacher.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious leader to take the next step in their career, providing the day-to-day leadership of the school by motivating and inspiring pupils, colleagues, parents and the wider community.

It is also a very exciting time to join the school as there has been significant improvement made since the school joined the trust. We are looking for a leader to work alongside the Executive Headteacher and continue the journey of rapid and sustained improvement.

Working in the context of the NEAT vision and values, the successful candidate will develop a shared expectation of outstanding quality first teaching and create and support an aspirational and innovative culture of learning in the school.

St Peter’s Primary is looking for an inspiring leader who has:

  • Previous experience as an impactful leader and demonstrable experience of teaching in primary to improve pupil outcomes.
  • Previous experience or a desire to take up the role of SENCO and drive inclusion throughout the school.
  • A track record of success in using whole school teaching and learning, assessment or curriculum development.
  • A detailed understanding of the essential components of quality first teaching.
  • Ability to translate school improvement priorities into practical actions which support and empower pupils and staff to succeed.
  • Commitment to working with other professionals to champion best practice and secure excellent outcomes for all pupils.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
