  8. Work with parents and carers to support learning and positive outcomes.
  9. Help create an inclusive, nurturing and ambitious learning environment.
  10. Use a range of SEND strategies, resources and technology effectively.
  11. Support and guide other Teaching Assistants where appropriate.
  12. Share your expertise and contribute to the professional development of colleagues.

You may also support learning in a range of settings, including school, community and home environments, depending on the needs of our pupils.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who combines expert SEND knowledge with warmth, resilience and ambition for every young person.

You will ideally have:

  1. HLTA status or an equivalent qualification.
  2. Significant recent experience working with young people with SEND.
  3. Essential expertise and experience in supporting pupils with complex communication needs.
  4. Experience planning and delivering learning activities and interventions.
  5. Strong knowledge of SEND-specific strategies and inclusive practice.
  6. Experience assessing needs and monitoring progress.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. The ability to build trusting, positive relationships with pupils, families and professionals.
  9. Experience working collaboratively as part of a successful team.
  10. The confidence to lead learning and support other Teaching Assistants.
  11. A flexible, creative approach to engaging pupils and overcoming barriers to learning.
  12. A commitment to safeguarding, equality and inclusion.

Most importantly, you will be someone who believes every child can make progress and deserves the opportunity to succeed.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
