Job Purpose:
- To provide operational leadership and oversight of pastoral provision across the designated Key Stage, working in close partnership with Heads of Year, who retain responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of their respective year groups.
- To support the Designated Safeguarding Lead in ensuring the school meets its statutory safeguarding responsibilities and provides a safe, supportive environment for all students.
Contract and Salary:
NJC Pay Scale, Grade 6 (SCP 15-23), FTE Salary: £31,015 - £35,570, Actual Salary: £28,169 - £32,306
This is a permanent position working 37 hours per week for 41 weeks a year (term-time, inclusive of INSET days, plus 2 weeks in the summer holidays).
Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30, Friday: 08:00 - 16:00
