The posting

Willoughby Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Midday Supervisory Assistant to work two hours per day Monday to Friday as part of the midday team to provide effective lunchtime supervision to the Academy.

Our Midday Supervisory Assistants play a vital role within our academy. The role involves supervising our children during midday break both in the lunch hall and in the playground, as well as helping prepare and tidy the dinner hall after use. The successful candidate will have a personable manner, patience and will be able to engage with children of all ages. You will join a happy place to work, where all staff are valued. The successful candidate must be able to work well under direction and use his or her own initiative, have a good standard of English and Maths and have some knowledge of food preparation is essential. This role is term time only.

Willoughby Academy is an all needs, through Academy (2 – 19) for students with moderate, severe, profound and complex needs. We offer a supportive learning environment with excellent facilities. Enthusiasm combined with energy and perseverance are a prerequisite; as is the desire to be involved in all aspects of the development of an outstanding Special Academy.
