The posting

Work where it matters most, achieve what matters more

As our Receptionist/Administration Assistant you would be providing effective support to our academy, working in our main office for 5 days per week. The post is offered working 40 weeks per year (school term time plus 2 weeks (5 PD days and 5 days during school holidays)).

Ormiston Endeavour Academy is a high school located on the outskirts of Ipswich. As an Academy which has seen significant growth over the last two academic years, we take pride in the high levels of support, care and challenge we offer all of our students. Endeavour students are warm, welcoming and willing to push themselves to succeed. Our staff are committed to providing a caring yet challenging environment in which young people can learn, develop and achieve to their full potential. Our curriculum is organised to allow a course of study that is broad, rich and flexible in supporting students. In addition, we offer our students a broad enrichment programme which all staff are encouraged to participate in. We are fully committed to on-going continuous professional development and, along with excellent in-house CPD, can offer an extremely supportive and positive atmosphere to work in.

Why work for Ormiston Academies Trust?

Our vision is to create a school system where every child thrives, regardless of background. Our people are at the heart of our approach - they are our greatest asset.

We exist to provide the best learning opportunities every day, in every school for every child. It is the people and teams in our Trust who make this a reality and ensure we have the greatest impact. If you join us at Ormiston, whatever your role, you can be sure of a role with purpose and meaning.

Ormiston, where every member of staff enjoys…

  • The opportunity to build on the legacy of those who came before - being part of one of the longest standing Trusts, created with the sole purpose of enabling children and young people to thrive
  • Working for a Trust nationally recognised for its impact on disadvantaged children - a rewarding, stimulating career where staff are challenged to be the best they can be, for the pupils we are proud to serve
  • Being part of a team and community where you belong - receiving bespoke and holistic support from a well-resourced and ambitious network of experts and professionals that work at the heart of communities
  • A supportive environment to grow your career - an extensive professional development programme, alongside flexible working arrangements and generous benefits

We are looking for an individual who is proactive, flexible and able to communicate clearly and effectively, have a good understanding of Microsoft Office packages and be able to make a positive contribution to our ethos and values.

In return, we will offer you:

  • Professional development
  • Support from a high performing team and access to trust-wide subject networks
  • An academy which is focused on supporting the well-being of staff
  • Access to employee benefit scheme

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
