The posting

Are you organised, approachable and passionate about providing an excellent service? We are looking for a friendly and professional Receptionist & Admin Assistant to join our team and play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of our school.

As one of the first people our students, families and visitors meet, you will be at the heart of our school community, providing a warm welcome alongside efficient and reliable administrative support.

About the role

As Receptionist & Admin Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, parents, carers and students. Alongside managing our busy reception, you will provide administrative support across the school, including responding to enquiries, maintaining records, supporting admissions and assisting the wider administrative and leadership teams.

You will also undertake first aid training and provide first aid support when required.

Key responsibilities

You will:

  • Provide a friendly and professional welcome to students, families, visitors and colleagues.
  • Manage telephone calls, emails and enquiries, directing them appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate visitor, student and administrative records.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support across the school.
  • Support admissions, meetings, events, school trips and parents' evenings.
  • Support the administration of school lunches and Free School Meals.
  • Manage post, deliveries, supplies and resources.
  • Provide first aid support when required following appropriate training.
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow safeguarding procedures at all times.

We are looking for someone who

  • Has experience in a customer-facing and office environment.
  • Holds GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4 or above, or equivalent.
  • Has good IT and administrative skills.
  • Is organised, proactive and able to prioritise effectively.
  • Communicates confidently and professionally.
  • Works well independently and as part of a team.
  • Is adaptable and passionate about supporting children and young people.

Experience within an education or reception environment, knowledge of Google Workspace, first aid training and an awareness of safeguarding and child protection would be advantageous.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?
