We are looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and dependable School Care Assistant to join our team at Glen Hills Primary School.

This is a rewarding role at the heart of school life, supporting pupils with their wellbeing, personal care and day-to-day needs, whilst also helping with a range of school support activities. Every day is different, and the role would suit someone who is caring, approachable and dedicated to supporting children, including those who may require personal or intimate care. You will enjoy building positive relationships and helping every child feel safe, valued and able to thrive.

Glen Hills Primary School is a large, welcoming primary school with a strong sense of community. We are proud of our inclusive ethos, well behaved pupils and supportive staff team. We are committed to helping every child feel safe, valued and ready to succeed.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience of working with children or individuals with care needs
  • Builds positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
  • Is flexible, organised and able to work as part of a team
  • Can maintain high standards of care, confidentiality and professionalism
  • Has a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
