QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL

  • Qualified teacher status
  • Degree level qualification in Science
  • Experience of teaching at KS3 and KS4
  • Experience in leading on department initiatives
  • Relevant postgraduate professional qualification DESIREABLE
  • Some teaching experience in a school with a similar context.
  • Previous experience of working with parents

  • Ability to set and attain high standards from pupils
  • Commitment to the role of assessment to monitor progress
