L4 (Point 9 - 14) = £28,153 - £30,515 per annum

Full Time - 37 Hours Per Week

(Worked on a split shift Monday - Friday)

Governors wish to appoint a dedicated and professional Site Agent who will share their commitment of maintaining and developing an outstanding learning environment, for the pupils and staff.

Principal duties and responsibilities include:

  • Security and safety of premises, including opening and closing.
  • Ensure all essential services are in place and fully operational so that the school is ready to open safely and effectively each day.
  • Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness.
  • Maintaining the premises in an excellent state of repair.
  • Grounds maintenance, including weeding and gardening.

The successful candidate(s) will:-

Have the ability to work in a flexible manner with a ‘can do’ approach.

Be energetic, enthusiastic and take extreme pride in how our school looks and functions.

Possess a good range of skills and experience in carrying out handyman tasks and general maintenance.

Be aware of Health & Safety Regulations, including COSHH and risk assessment, and understand how they apply in a school environment.

Be able to communicate effectively with a range of people including children, staff, parents, visitors and contractors.

Be approachable, well motivated and able to work on own initiative.

Be able to use a computer to log health and safety data, complete online training and access the school's internal management information systems.
