📍 Location: Wixams Academy, Wixams, Bedford, MK42 6BA 💰 Salary: £26,625 - £30,108 per annum ⏰ Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year 👤 Responsible to: Regional Site Manager

Are you a practical, hands-on problem solver who takes pride in creating safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environments? We are looking for a dedicated Site Agent to join our team and play a key role in keeping our school running smoothly!

🔧 What You'll Be Doing

✅ Carrying out maintenance, repairs, and DIY tasks across the school site ✅ Ensuring the school buildings and grounds are safe, secure, and well-presented ✅ Supporting health and safety compliance and site inspections ✅ Managing site security, including opening and locking up the premises 🔐 ✅ Liaising with contractors and overseeing maintenance works 👷 ✅ Responding to emergencies and resolving issues quickly 🚨 ✅ Supporting school events and community lettings 🎭 ✅ Maintaining records, inspections, and compliance documentation 📋

🕒 Working Pattern

We operate a rotating shift pattern to support the needs of the school and lettings programme:

Week 1: Five morning shifts starting at 7:00am Week 2: Five afternoon/evening shifts starting at 12:30pm

The pattern alternates weekly and may occasionally vary to meet operational requirements.

📍 Where You'll Work

Your primary base will be Wixams Academy, but there may be occasional opportunities to support other schools within our Bedfordshire Hub:
