The posting
The Bridge Academy is looking for an enthusiastic, committed and nurturing Teacher to join our team and make a real difference to the lives of young people who require additional support to thrive in education.
We are seeking a teacher to work with Key Stage 3 students who benefit from a nurturing, individualised approach and a curriculum tailored to their needs. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who can look beyond traditional classroom approaches and adapt learning to help every young person experience success, build confidence and develop a positive attitude towards learning.
The successful candidate will have the experience, creativity and flexibility to teach secondary-aged pupils through a primary-style curriculum, adapting lessons and approaches to meet individual needs and starting points. You will be skilled at building positive relationships with young people, understanding barriers to learning and creating a calm, supportive environment where pupils feel safe, valued and able to achieve.

- Is committed to inclusion and believes that every young person should have the opportunity to succeed.
- Works collaboratively with colleagues, families and other professionals to provide holistic support for pupils.
- Primary QTS would be desirable, as would experience of working in SEND settings, Alternative Provision or a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU).
We offer
- A supportive and collaborative working environment
- Opportunities for professional development and career progression
- Access to high-quality CPD and mentoring (including ECT support)
- An Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) and employee benefits package
